Red Plastic Cup Chickens

Here is one of my favorite chicken crafts. It is made from a red 9 oz. plastic cup. Cut with scissors all around the cup every 3/8 of an inch down to within about 1 3/4 inches of the bottom of the cup. Leave one strip 5/8 inch wide to serve as the head. Fold the head down in two places. Slit the head to insert a red felt comb. Make eyes with black marker. Glue on a yellow triangle felt beak. Fold down the strips as pictured, leaving about three or four standing up in the back for tail feathers.
