I have been looking through some old photos and things from Walter's folks. Here is a page from a little booklet called "Gems of American Architecture," a tongue-in-cheek picture book of outdoor toilets. It was distributed to customers with "the compliments and good wishes" of Standard Supplies, Inc. in Rockville, MD. Walter's father was a plumber and also a big joker, so he probably enjoyed this book a lot!
